The K. Walker Band
Kevin Stroner, an old college buddy and fraternity brother, wrote and recorded “Eleven” in late 2006 under the name The K. Walker Band. (Kevin’s middle name is Walker, hence the K. Walker) Using studio musicians and old band mates, Kevin put together a well-crafted, excellently produced record with the help of Don McCollister at Nickle & Dime studios.
After he completed the record, Kevin asked me to play bass during live performances so he could focus on singing. Since then, Kevin has built a band of excellent musicians including Kevin (bass, guitar, vocals) , Robb Duke (bass, guitar, vocals), Sean Bulow (lead guitar, vocals), and Rob Mirabelli (drums).
Below are some audio files from his first album. Soon I’ll add new versions of these songs as played by the current line-up, as well as new originals that we as a band are writing now.
