Old School will performing as an opening act for Paul McCartney! Well, sort of. We’ll be playing at Kevin’s house which is less than 1,000 feet from Piedmont Park where Sir Paul will rock out this Saturday. Come check us out! We play a smokin’ Revolution and Ballad of John & Yoko (I know those are John’s tunes, but the band didn’t have time to rehearse Band on the Run like I suggested. he he)

Chester Duke is 70

Chester Duke, AKA Chet the Jet, AKA Dad, celebrates his 70th birthday Sunday (7/26).

Immediate family will be in attendance to help him celebrate with a special cake (no girls will be popping out of it, sadly) and the obligatory steak dinner.

And, if Jodi makes me take the acoustic guitar, a hootenanny may ensue after the birthday meal.
