No one at East Andrews Cafe and Bar was too cool for school last night as Old School (my cover band) blazed through an hour-long set of pop and rock from the 50s to today.
The crowd was thin at first but grew to a near full room by the close of our set as we drew them in with choice hits like Clapton’s version of I Shot the Sherriff and the Beatles’ Revolution.

Kevin & Robb from Old School
I will be playing bass and guitar along with Kevin Stroner (guitar/vox) and Mike Edwards (drums/vox) as Old School, a rockin’ cover band, on Friday, July 17 at East Andrews Cafe and Bar.
The show starts at 9:30pm and tickets are $8 (sorry no guest list this time, kids) We’ll be playing pop and rock tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s – old favorites such as the Beatles, Eric Clapton, The Cure, Van Morrison, The Lemonheads, The Police and The Cult. But don’t worry – we go “new” school too. We’ll have some rocked-up versions of more recent tunes from Nelly, Outkast and many more.
